The Next Chapter: Letter AI Raises Series A Funding to Help Revenue Teams Thrive

Today, I am thrilled to announce Letter AI has raised $10.6M in Series A funding, led by Stage 2 Capital with participation from Lightbank, Y Combinator, Formus, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, Mangusta, and others. As part of the raise, Mark Roberge — Co-Founder and Managing Director at Stage 2 Capital, and founding CRO at HubSpot — will be joining the Letter AI board. In just the last year, we’ve grown the Letter AI customer base 15x with leading organizations like Lenovo, Adobe, Novo Nordisk, Plaid, Zip, Kong, and SolarWinds transforming their enablement efforts with AI.
Looking ahead, our mission is simple: to transform enablement from a traditionally passive exercise into one that’s proactive, personalized, and high velocity. All in a unified, AI-native platform.
Reflecting on the last year: Driving unprecedented growth
When my co-founder Armen and I first started Letter AI, the remit was simple: help go-to-market teams get quickly ramped on everything they needed to know to win. Two years ago, we launched AI-native sales training and coaching, launched best-in-class AI roleplays, and delivered customizable learning journeys. Customers loved what they saw, and they wanted more.
So we built an AI-native content hub for revenue teams to manage, create, and distribute their content. Letter AI streamlined content creation & governance with AI-powered metadata management, auto-tagging & translations, and content generation with AI. Your personalized AI agent helps you find what you need when you need it - whether it’s in the app, in Slack, or via MS Teams. We launched sales rooms with embedded AI agents to keep your buyers engaged through the deal cycle. And your team also got back hundreds of hours with RFP automation, answering 80%+ of the questions received. All of this possible in 20+ languages.
Global enablement teams embraced what we were building, departing legacy platforms with low adoption and ROI in droves. The enablement community celebrated what they saw in Letter AI (see below for just a few examples) - and we couldn’t be more grateful. We became the #1 AI-native, unified enablement platform thanks to our incredible customers and amazing team - which quadrupled in size just this year.
When we were approached by Mark Roberge (founding CRO at HubSpot) and the Stage 2 team to lead our Series A, we saw the perfect partnership: tapping into the world’s largest and most impressive network of GTM leaders to help us with the next phase of our journey. What is that phase? To transform enablement from passive to proactive, personalized, and high velocity.

Looking ahead: Building the future of revenue enablement with AI
When we speak with enablement leaders and CROs on their biggest pain points before Letter AI, we hear the same challenges: enablement is reactive, generic, and slow. To put it more simply, enablement is passive. We are on a mission to make enablement active - that is, proactive, personalized, and high velocity. All delivered in a unified, deeply integrated platform - not dozens of point solutions that fail to talk to each other.
What does this mean for Letter AI going forward? Creating personalized learning and content in Letter AI will get even more streamlined than it is today. Insights from your CRM and conversational intelligence tool will drive what your revenue teams experience in Letter AI, proactively guiding them with insights so they can spend 80%+ of their time in front of customers (vs. the industry average of 30% today). And if you thought our mutli-modal AI features felt magical now, just wait until you see what we have in store next.
